I left the car in the pub car park after attempting to drive up a hill and getting stuck twice. I drove about 200m in 1 hour. I went back to get it this morning.
Then i drove my girlfriend home to hers.
And tonight, just because I could.
Fogz innit.
The snow has caused me a lot of bother. The splitter on the front is so close to the ground it acts as a plow and today when pulling off the drive in reverse, snow built up behind the splitter to the point that it pulled the front bumper of entirely on the drivers side. It ripped the screw from...
By squishing the CAF into an oval you are restricting the air flow.
Both these shapes can be made by a 102mm piece of pipe and both have the same circumference, however by squishing the CAF into an oval or near oval the surface area at the end of a pipe to let cold air in is reduced. It's a...
Mine was £147 with a 2 week wait. They had to order the key from France. The key itself was like £60 the rest was made up up by the 'cost' of programming it.
UPDATE:
The problem is now fixed. I took the car to a garage and had a full aux belt kit fitted. The noise was, in this case at least, coming from the idler. The one that was taken off the car wasn't spinning freely at all, and when it was spun by hand it was making a grinding noise...
I had a full aux belt kit fitted/replaced today and it has sorted the problem for me. The idler (i think that was the part they showed me) was knackered. It didn't spin freely and was making a grinding noise as it span. I'm chuffed my noise has gone.
Your issue sounds exactly the same as the issue i'm having. I'm going to get a full aux belt kit change tomorrow (i've only just now had the money to do it) , i'll report back to let you know if it has gone. ;) Does it sound like this btw? I know it could be anything based from this video, but...
Exterior wise and based on those pictures, it doesn't look like it would take a huge amount of effort to get it looking half decent. As it stands though......
The only comments I've had off my mates is "It feels about as my (Fiesta) Zetec" and "It's as quick as my (Astra) SXi", haha. This was when i first got it and was giving it some whenever possible. They had been telling me for weeks and weeks before i bought it that "a Clio would be s**t and...
You reversed out of a driveway opposite the Co-op, drove past the Police station and indicated right once you reached the A12. Female driver, male passenger.
Be prepared to feel every single little bump in the road, these are what are currently on my car, they were what were on the car when i purchased it as I've yet to change them. Saying that i have nothing to compare them to, so i have no idea what the ride is like compared to other springs.
That car has been for sale for ages! I'm pretty sure it was list on autotrader whn i was looking for mine back in August. It's not really suprising that it's still for sale though is it?
How often do you hear this..
At work browsing pistonheads saw a nice V6 and said to the people i'm sat with "That's what I want to get as my next car" to which the girl next to me said "That's a clio, they are girls cars"
Just out of interest how often do you lot get told by people that...
It is an excuse. I intend to spend the night camping in my back garden with my girlfriend whilst drinking plenty of cider. She really wanted to go to a festival this summer, but couldn't. So we are having our own (late) mini one in the garden. I don't expect much sleep. :D
Sorry about that, only got a quick look. :dapprove: Mine was the Blue Ph1 witht he horrid exhaust. I was meant to turn off at Tesco, but i saw you out the corner of my eye, so i followed to see what it was. Then realised i had to actually go to Tesco, but wasn't in the right lane to go around...
I filled up with £15 worth of BP Unleaded Supreme, about 4 miles after my low fuel warning light came on. Today, 40 miles later the fuel warning light was back on. Something seems a little off. I was gettng 30.9mpg apparently. I should have about another 60 miles left surely?
