Mate, i can't wait for tomorrow, i've spent about 2.5 hours polishing the b*****d so far. Hard water marks ALL over the car. GAH! Still have all of the drivers side and the passenger side door and half the roof. Getting there though
Bloody hell it's hard work getting these marks out. I spent 90 mins on the bonnet and it still has some marks on it :( Although in fairness it is miles better! Going to finish it off tomorrow.

It looks like water has been left to stand for ages and it has dried up and left these marks all over the bonnet and roof. It's only happened in these places and i'm guessing that's because they are the only flat areas water could sit. As you move to the front of the bonnet they occur less and less.
I purchased my car the other day and after rinsing i noticed that there are what look like paint blemishes all over the bonnet that no amount of washing or shampooing will remove. The marks look like hard water marks or like dirty water that has dried up. What is the best way of getting rid of...
Cheers, I don't think they look terrible either, I still reckon i'll get rid of them though. The guy who sold me the car was under the impression they were 182 wheels. He told me that's how they were advertised when he got them from ebay and i guess he never checked to find out.
