Was the ballast. Garage that failed its mot changed the bulb though without checking any of the other items, and now I'm 60 bucks down for a working bulb :(
Looks a good buy that. Shame you didn't get a nosey at the V5 or MOT though to confirm the milage. Finding good ones isn't as easy as you think. It's always best to buy from within a club, but that can mean traveling a good few hundred miles to view a car each time.

Garage isn't sure what's on my non working Xenon (mot failed). So he replaced the bulb and it's still not working.

Sometimes if you catch it really early you can get away with covering the bad area inside with a load of grease. Unfortunately yours is way beyond that stage :(
To be fair Chris is shouldn't have inferred the KTR was rubbish. I should've tried cleaning and re-oiling it but that's too much messy hassle IMO.

You probably can't say they're all flimsy as there will be some decent pattern versions out there. It's just that the genuine ones are known to be up to the job for sure :)
