When you take the dog bone off do you need to support the engine?

After looking on here and going through various topics think i will go with the sports, as the pros look quite a bit higher on the rear? I basically want to reduce the body roll alot without going down the coilover route, do you get any rubbing from sportlines being lower?

So people would go for pros instead of sports?

With prolines would you tell the insurance company as it's slightly lowered?

Same price as one spring?blimey! As one side is snapped it would cause vibration through the steering wheel wouldn't it? The snapped spring is lodged beneath the rest of the spring on the shock and can't get it out. Prolines or sportlines big decision and where to buy?

Cars on around 65k noticed front driver side spring snapped car is standard, what would people suggest to do? Not that fussed about lowering the car much but would be nice a little lower also at this sort of mileage would people change the shocks too? 1. Get 2 new front Renault springs 2. Or...

Is it just the case of unscrewing the bolts and swapping the mount over? Do you need to support the engine too? and does it put more pressure on the other mounts?

Just been doing a few checks online to see what my renewal quote maybe and it seems to have gone up by around £100 this year by going to the usual sites! Anyone know why this is, ill be 26 with 4yrs ncb 0 points and they want £600 for a 172? was only £500 last year?

Im in the same position regarding suspension albeit im still all standard and have been contemplating Eibach for aaages now, there seems to be alot of hype about the Koni dampers with Eibach springs, its quite expensive setup but if you dont want to go any lower it seems a good alternative then...

Are there any others i should be looking at?
