Front spring snapped on 172, what would you do?

Car  6/468 17poo
Cars on around 65k noticed front driver side spring snapped car is standard, what would people suggest to do? Not that fussed about lowering the car much but would be nice a little lower also at this sort of mileage would people change the shocks too?

1. Get 2 new front Renault springs
2. Or get eibach pro spring kit / sportlines fitted

I presume a set of front springs from Renault would be around the same price as a whole eibach kit?

eibach sportlines or ill have a full set of standard spring up for sale by the end of the week

Set of eibachs is same price as one standard spring, so I'd go for eibachs

Same price as one spring?blimey!

As one side is snapped it would cause vibration through the steering wheel wouldn't it?
The snapped spring is lodged beneath the rest of the spring on the shock and can't get it out.

Prolines or sportlines big decision and where to buy?

Happened to mine. Replaced the snapped one and a few months later the other side snapped. Now rolling with a set of prolines.

They're black and the lower is hardly and different to standard. Also the eibach logo painted on them is easy enough to get off. Take that as you will.

After looking on here and going through various topics think i will go with the sports, as the pros look quite a bit higher on the rear?

I basically want to reduce the body roll alot without going down the coilover route, do you get any rubbing from sportlines being lower?
