there should be one in the kit unless its a cheaper ebay like one? there should be a standard renault harness I think, although I had to make my own by cutting and crimping an old one!
Only had my clio 3 weeks, the other day I thought.. im sure its loosing power, it just doesnt seem to accelerate, then I drove the wifes ford streetka (which to me was always quite quick) and there was just nothing in it, Ive just adjusted and become used to the power I think. :( loosing that...
Well, Got the new exhaust mount delivered :)
gone out to change it today, looks a bit rainy outside but thought I would have a crack anyway, actually turns out its a little more rusty than I thought.
its now got a blast of WD40 before I attempt anything, I am hoping to reuse the bolts!
Cheers, the door is a different shade, this is due to the previous owner getting into a scrap with a shopping trolly, for that reason I HPI checked it before I bought it, it does bother me a little but you can only really tell if your in the right light to see it.
Looked at the skoda splitters...

Morning,
Today I plan to plug both mine and my wife’s Clio into a diagnostic device later today to check everything is running okay, however the software I am using isn’t by Renault and doesn’t give me the tolerances on the sensors.
is there any information out there stating what the sensors...
Bought my 172 the other week, 86k miles with belts done at 67k, few issues but nothing major, cost me £1100
when looking I saw worse off 172's for twice that price, just make sure when you test drive them it feels how you want it too! dont let the seller try talk to you either, tell them to...
So! had the car 5 days now, and what can I say, I am impressed..
in my old clio I gave it foot to the floor quite often, this car a light throttle and im way ahead of where my old clio would have been. so much so that I dont feel the need to floor it at all, just cruise along nicely at 40mpg :)...
Hm, after reading all the above, and given the car only me £1100 with belts possibly done at 67k (receipts say so £550+ service) I think I may just go with it as I intend to be the last owner before either scrapping or breaking! as long as its well serviced and looked after it should do me well...
Just out of interest is there any specialists that can offer a service just to look over the car and recommend possible work to keep the car alive? it may be that none of the above is needed as the history does say it was done at 67k, its at 86ish now
I don’t know if the dephaser needs doing, I’m yet to check the YouTube videos to see! however I have a buzzing noise from the left side (if say in the driver’s seat) which sounds like a massive mosquito!
Yesterday I purchased a 2003 Silver Clio 172 for a smallish sum of £1100.
This will be my daily driving car and will replace my current 2008 Clio 1.2
I know the car is not in pristine condition but I believed the price reflected this..
It has 86,000 on the clock, 5 previous owners but has a...
Morning all,
Just had a crack at self window tinting (with film this time, not spray like last time :P)
the film has gone on quite well, the only problem im having, as i presume most would is that I cant for the life of me get the last little air bubbles out! I can get them too the edge but...
