Today I had a play with some headlight restorer, seems to have done the trick
and another bullet design! not keen though
I have a couple of things on order which I am quite excited for too ;)
Looked further into this and have decided that Vinyl wrapping is the way forward, materials are not to expensive and I have things like a heat gun and that already
Has anyone done this to a clio? what does it look like?
I want to try do it myself, does anyone know how easy it is? I have seen kits including the spray gun that appeal but don't know if to take the plunge or if it will be something that will end up in storage gathering dust.

I think standard mirrors look fine, and some 182 alloys would look nice ;) not sure on fitment to a phase 1 though, would have thought its still 4x100
best way is to draw a line where you want the gap, dril small holes just below the line like a dot to dot then using a jig saw just join the holes, then sand to smooth. take it easy with the jigsaw tho, have somebody else hold the bumper tight or the jigsaw will just pull it back and forth. then...
as its your first car I think you should go crazy at halfords just to get it out of your system :) really though, dont keep the wheels or mirrors they look shocking
