The Ring is up there with all other versions I have played on consoles, having watched this real life video it appears to be accurate.

I think the initial races are deliberately easy to win no matter which car you choose and will not get harder or more realistic until your Level increases.

I finished in 1st place on the TG track challenge. Karting is good and using the wheel you get plenty of force feedback warning before it will spin on you.

I think online should be fantastic and really sell the game but when I tried it last night things were not running very well and froze my PS3. Hopefully the online servers should be fully functional today now that the game is officially released. £350 does sound alot though to play one game.

Yeah I finished that easily enough on my second attempt, the Elise round on the other hand is a pain in the ass and I keep getting disqualified. I'm sure the TG track is a ice rink when driving the Lotus.

If you spin the AI is pretty useless and will simply slam into you but when passing other cars I have found the AI cars are good at adopting a new line rather than side swiping me. When using a wheel the car control and physics are excellent. I don't mind using standard cars when needed, they...

Check the camera is working within the PS dashboard settings and then also within the GT5 settings, scroll to the right on the general setting screen for PS Eye configuration. Works OK, will experiment with it more on another day.

Both can be found within the Special stages, complete the first Top Gear track challenge and you open it up for use in Arcade mode.

I bought a new Swift for my 1st car, won the TG Special Challenge which was very boring. Currently driving the AMG driving school which is great fun on the Ring.

Just tried karting and with the g25 it is much better than I expected it to be.

I have the G25, will post here later with my experience of using it with GT5. I also use the clutch pedal as the brake in F1.

There is a definite improvement shown here which makes me doubt that the standard cars make the game look like a PS2 title. Standard Car GT5 GT4 Car

None of the videos I have viewed backup what that person posted, chances are it is a GT hater.

I'm not sure I agree that the AI follow a set racing line as I could see the AI cars clearly moving out of the way at several moments during his race. The biggest issue seemed to be his driving!!
