Did you buy all the bits seperately and build it yourself though. We're talking about your average gamer... Most wouldn't have the skill/knowhow to do it on such a budget.

You can't really apply it to money as the console would always win, shirley? you can pick up a good TV and Xbox for a few hundred squid nowadays. If you allow for teh max then obv those gaming rigs would destroy a console but you're paying bloody thousands... unless you know how to build one...

Speed of cursor movement doesn't really make me moist when thinking about FPS.

Indeed, there are too many variables to compare the 2 fairly imo. Mainly the fact that something like a controller vs a mouse & keyboard will always cause a big divide as the 2 are so different. No matter how much better a PC might be the simple fact that you have to use a mouse & keyboard...

Well if they want to change my opinion they better pull their thumbs out and produce something that i think deserves all that extra cash. I'm not gonna pay more than i have too, to play with a mouse & keyboard on a smaller screen with slightly better graphics that i won't notice too much...

I also agree but the fact is if you have better reactions than someone else it will also give you an advantage on a console. It isn't something exclusive to PC users.

You can be "out aimed all day" with a controller too, sniper matches on Halo for example showed that.

I've not seen anything on PC thats made me think "oh s**t i wish my cheap console could reproduce that" yet, until the gaming PC's can do some radically different to the FPS gaming experience i just wont see the appeal, personally. I'm fine with my un-upgradable system, for now.

I know who would win but that doesn't necessarily means its better. I drove an F430 around a track and then drove a lotus elise, i know which one is far superior but it doesn't mean i enjoyed it more. Its all personal opinion at the end of the day... and my opinion is never wrong. lulz

I understand that PC's can outdo a console game in terms of graphics etc but using a mouse and keyboard sucks so much dick its insane. I used to play a few FPS on PC (although not a great one) but i still got to see how it works and i just dont like it. The fact i thought CS was s**t too...

See i'd pay upto a ton (maybe) for a 4 i think but i'd want at least unlim text and 500 mins but it'd have to be £35 max! Where that deal Jason.

I can only fine 8gb iPhones available online. Did the networks stop doing anything over 8gb or is it an online thing. Maybe different in a month or so when my contract is up but its looking like the 4 will be too much for my £35 a month budget on a decent network (not 3, need good signal)...
