oops. some locals might have spotted this one, booshed into a tree off the corner... not sure if it was a valver it might have been, it was dark blue... hope they got out ok tho :(
neither had i, but 3 of the tyres on my bf's recently acquired evo VI are vredsteins :S the other is an f1. pretty weird combo, fortunately they have a fair amount of wear on so not too much of a waste to upgrade the set. rated by auto express recently, perhaps explains the price hike...
Re: Sooooo f**king angry with mytyres.com
werd!
luck of the draw really. i think their prices are a lot to do with variation in stock levels, demand etc. as with any business really! they have to keep the stock rolling after all. similar thing happened when i bought my f1's recently. didnt...
bodes well for me :) only got mine in july and put 6k on it already :( but touchwood no problems so far (apart from the badger incident but that wasnt the car's fault). long may it continue!
no idea, sorry! lol it was a cup sorta blue i think, i only caught a glimpse of it going past in a queue and then it was gone haha!
that "blue sport" might not have been a sport after all...! i'm a rubbish spotter :D
after 4pm, i was heading north...
blue 182 heading south from yeovil direction
blue sport (not sure on this one, maybe a cup) heading into yeovil from a303 junction
blue vee6 towards podimore roundabout
was quite excited about the vee ;) :o
i only ever refilled my rover when the oil light began to flicker on roundabouts... never did it any harm tho i know its not ideal! was weird tho, i'd check it religiously to start with and no change, then i forgot it for a while and it all disappeared?!
this is what i cant understand?!
its "illegal" to have different sized tyres on the same axle. but space savers are usually different width & ratios anyway :S
if ur talking about an induction kit, you will probably need a remap afterwards to get the maximum benefit?
the panel filter is about £40, and you'll never get a straight answer here on whether it affects power output! ;) i just fitted one today, not fully tested it yet tho
i thought it was a feature of cat 1 alarms that they auto-lock after a given TIME. mine locks even when i've not moved or started the engine!? is a bit of a pain having to remember to open the door for my passengers?! but better than getting car-jacked i suppose :D
a46 is a hellish road at the best of times! beats me why they havent dualled it to the mway yet :S
and yeah that junction is ALWAYS a nightmare! cept maybe for a couple of hours in the dead of night!
