    my centre section weld cracked twice, apparently because one end was a flat weld instead of a cone - charlie said it was one of the "monkeys" that did it and that he'd since been dismissed... so far i've not had any more problems but if i do i'll be straight over that bridge ;)

    werd. as has been said u do need to rag it around 4k to feel like it's shifting, below that i generally find it's quite sluggish and more of a gradual increase. i've had mine for a couple of years now and it still catches me out sometimes :eek:

    that's what i would do as well, quite fancy the main cover in monaco blue but unfortunately i've got more pressing items to spend money on atm :o

    i seek a bottom grill which has a smaller mesh than standard so that stones can't chip my AC condensor (again) anybody know where i should look for such an item? i've already checked demon tweeks. budget around £100. and it has to look nice too, pref black so that it doesn't jar too...

    wow, i've been quoted £390 plus vat to replace mine (again!) :eek: obviously i'm looking for a cheaper solution, but unless it can be done for around the £200 mark i'm not gonna bother. why are these things made of tissue paper?! :rolleyes: supposedly the hole in mine is due to a stone chip...

    i feel your pain... luckily am not changing discs just now (well i hope not anyway) whoever invented torx should have been smothered at birth imo ;)
