was listening to music for half an hour with the engine off (fan was going as well, d'oh!) and the battery went flat! had to call the AA to jump start me :o
he says i should get a new battery. just wondering where's best to buy and how much it will be?
ta
haha. that was me on the m4 this morning :o
i recently had a decat fitted - does this make it less likely my coils are dead? car still drives beautifully, no staggering or owt.
cheers all
and yes i have searched! no matches!
it sounds like a good thing cos the people who talk about it have very shiny cars!
thinking i wanna get mine a going over before the winter sets in. also for another car (evo) - wilts/somerset area
prices/info/etc
ta :approve:
sounds right, it was heading out towards dorchester, the bit after the railway bridge with a turn off for dog kennels! lol don't know the name of the place and i've been driving past it for 4 years :o
i presume u have tried switching ignition on (don't start the car) and switching just the sidelights on-off twice?
it should beep at u
the square at the top is just the rain sensor as far as i know, i might be wrong tho
well interestingly i have an old receipt for a centre & rear section, fitted by Hi-Q two years ago, costing £480 incl vat.
the SS i have just had fitted was only £336 incl vat.
if it's cheaper to replace then i don't see why it's a problem?!
ok, phoned up today to tell them about my new exhaust.
as usual, got the "sunday staff" i.e. some pleb in timbuktoo.
they have charged me an additional premium, but said that they won't pay for the modification.
i presume this means that if i have an accident and the exhaust needs...
^^ now that I MUST see :D hehe
should be. it sounds faintly ridiculous but i hope it's not too loud! don't want to be one of those annoying neighbours y'know ;) lol
nice pics, good to see paul j giving it some serious beans as per! :race:
would have popped along myself but spent the day in cardiff getting the new exhaust...
well i guess it could be. but i had all of that recently replaced so i would hope not! service is due again soon anyway so if new exhaust hasn't cured it i will get carlton's to check it out...
am hoping to feel a serious difference when i get mine replaced on sat.
at the mo it's dripping water from somewhere near the front, which can't be good news!
there was a bit more to it than just flaming! he did a few things behind and in front of the metal, took about half an hour in all i think. because it was quite a deep dent i was a bit worried about the paint flaking, even before he even got the torch out! thankfully it's come up perfecto
it's a weird one isn't it. not sure how it happened. I reckon the guy who sold me it dropped a spanner or summat, cos the windscreen was chipped as well  all sorted now tho!
