set up would be very similar to yours, DIY skills are ok but I'd rather it was an easy swap and budget just enough to get a decent replacement set :cool:
I like this approach seabass. Are you still using the stock tweeters or did you unplug them given you have tweeters in the new speakers? Do you really need the booster pack? How would the 4 speakers perform off a decent Alpine headunit?
You do, I just feel they're overpriced and was wondering what other component speaker and tweeter packages others had and how the aftermarket tweeters fitted in to the existing holes

they come with tweeters which look too big to fit in the position of the factory tweeters in my 172. The wires are really short too so don't leave much room to mount them...
