trust me if you fit the skyline parts and you can cook a set of plain discs with mu's you will be braking really f**king hard... i was on a run way on an air field and did a 140-0 stop with mu's on stock calipers and plain discs and they didnt fade... there was a 350z with red stuff pads and he...

just undo the bottom 2 rings... i hope you havent undone the top rings to lower it as thats the wrong way and takes the preload off... run about 10mm preload, loosen the top rings till the spring is just loose then measure from the spring perch up 10mm and wind it up to that... then lock it off...

your wrong about needing to take the shock off to raise or lower it... you just undo the locking rings and twist the whole body round... its a rose joint at the top so will spin.... then you just tighten the locking rings again.

lol its a funny corner, there is like a brow just before it where alot of people get caught out, car goes light they lift off soon as all the weight is back on they touch the brakes get a massive weight shift and back end comes round... if you get that right people just use the wrong brake...
