Ive just got a 9855r aswell and i have to say the sound quility over the standard is unreal i really never thought it would sound so much better. The bass it gives out is awsome i just need different speakers now. Im not to sure on when you have the ipod hucked up you have to search the songs...

i was thinking of running them off the headunit seeing how that goes. i find the standards easily load enough, just not a very good quility sound. that is unless the system would really benifit from having a amp.

i went a picked mine up from cel direct nice freindly service and replaced a faulty ipod adaptor cable without any worries. id use them again.
