I agree, in anything but a very windy/narrow road with no long straights, the cup would have no chance. Its just that braking hard on a bend in a car weighing the wrong side of 1700Kg and placing the car correctly for the next bend is VERY difficult and requires twice the skill required to do it...

thats a good price assuming youre talking about the Grp N ECU, new inlet manifold, exhaust cam and all labour. Usually nearer the £1500 mark. Are you getting it done by R-sport?

I think the Grp N discs use nodular cast iron which is meant to have better heat dissipation etc. At the rate I go through mine, I may not bother. I know what you mean about the wheels , hee hee
