Also to note, it starts to happen after about 4-5mins of driving.
Silly question as well, could taking a wheel off and on do this? Seemed to start after I removed the wheel to look at my hub spacing for the suspension.
Started to get a vibration/buzzing sound at around 1500-1700rpm and I cnt feel anything. At first it was only in 1st and 2nd then nothing. Tonight it was the worst its been, yet when I went back out in the car there was nothing.
At first I thought exhaust but you don't get it when revving...
Yeh i won't be swapping the brakes I don't think. Me and my mate will have the tools and that it was the way he was explaining and then searching through here just really confused me!
I guess I'll just have to wait and see how much I can get the hubs for i suppose.
Yeh I don't. Is just what I read about the 58mm hub originally having ABS and there being a thread where this might be a problem, that's all. Was just wanting a clear and concise answer rather than having all these different threads which have one thing and another.
Now to throw a spanner in...
haha, make it sound so easy.
Through searching other things came up regarding driveshafts, ABS, track rod, etc saying some of this stuff will need replaced as well yet some say just hubs (may as well upgrade the brakes at the same time) and I guess it kinda confused me. Is any of this a...
Whats actually involved in this? How hard is it? etc?
Basically im in the dilemma of having the 52mm hub spacing and wanting some cheap and cheerful coilovers, so I'm looking at swapping the hubs to a suitable replacement.
Back to this haha.
So changing hubs from one to the other is it as simple as it sounds? Found a thead while searching where they were talking about brakes/ABS/disc size and it just confused me really. Tried to find the thead where somebody had done it but couldn't find it.
1000D has live view.
550d is the way forward personally. I have the 1000d and its great as a starter but once you get used to things you want a better body. Plus the 550d does 1080p recording aswell as 60fps 720p recording which is noice!
When removing the rear diamond (MK2 PH2 I think) is it alright to put boot lock back together without the diamond?
Just wondering before I go with it as I want to do at least a semi decent job on the respray!
Basically looking for advice regarding the whole 58mm and 52mm sizing difference when upgrading/lowering suspension.
I have a 1.2 8v Campus 06 plate and I'm pretty sure its the 52mm one without measuring.
I will measure before buying but can anyone confirm whether or not its the 52mm size?
