if your going to change the skirts i would change the bumpers first for 172 ones, IMO. but to be honest, best left as it is, could get an rs grill, it should fit

Cheers, i did yeh, its more or less the same colour as the grill so im pretty pleased with it

Thought i would give the engine a clean down, remove the engine cover and gave it a coat a paint.

if its been done properly then should get a small gain

depends on if the hole in your wheel where the bolt goes is tapered or has a radius, a tapered bold has a straight edge usualy 60 degres, a radius bolt has a curved edge at. if i could find a pic it would be easyer to explain lol

you wont need an alignment after a balljoint is replaced. as for the pulling to the left, all cars do it, unless its really pulling then somthings is defo wrong, but when you let the wheel go slightly it should drift left, you get quite alot of feed back through the steering in a 172 so may seem...

i had this problem before, not on a clio may i ad tho,totaly cut out while driving. wouldent turn over or anything, but later found it to be the fuse for the fuel pump. this was on an audi a3 tho so not sure if its the same

some great pictures here, shame about the crash but we all do it lol. great to see it brought back to life
