renault will be able to get you a new key, will cost alot tho because they will charge for it to be coded to the car, they can get the same key using your chassis number. unless something has changed over the years this is the only way i know you can do it

i would get it recoved to a garage, wouldent risk driving it,or even starting it, the cost of a snapped cambelt dosent bare thinking about, compared to a small price to get it recoverd to a garage

k-teck recommend having them changed with a cambelt, or over 70k nothing worse than have the cambelt done then have the dephaser fail 6 month down the line

yup its due, it would be worth getting the dephaser pully replaced to at the same time.
