Depends how old you are for coilovers on a road car and then they seem more hassle than they're worth, most of the time. If your Avons are ZV5s then I would say they're fine as I've used them. Don't know about others in their range though. Could well have been cold...
There's no way a standard Fiesta ST would handle noticeably better than a Clio, last trackday at Oulton Park I was taking the corners at very similar pace to an ST on coilovers and 888s and my Clio's only on standard shocks, Sportlines and road tyres. Maybe he had a better suspension/tyre setup...
Had the same problem, just tuck the wires in separate areas where possible. Iirc I even tucked one up, left and down, then a brave final forceful push to click home.
Hi Aaron, whereabouts are you. Maybe interested in the wheel swap if you're after some standard Ph2s with good tyres. Cup shocks are straight swap on 172s, springs are the same.
