There is a 197 on a 07 plate with rear tints for sale at renault ilford for £13999. Not bad for a brand new car considering they will probably drop £500-750 if you haggle hard enough. Not sure on mileage or other options.

I find that grip in the wet with the pe2's is very confidence inspiring. most premium tyres will be similar in the dry.

silver mk2 and black mk2 172 were disappointing imo when they came out. they look virtually identical to 1.2 dynamiques to the untrained eye. the situation worsened when they made the dynamiques with 15" versions of the 172 wheel. ph2 cup / trophy style all the way!
