99.9% of the time a recode does nothing, the key itself is usually fooked
you can unclip the blade but the black part comes with the circuit board, about £90 plus the charge for coding it in
with crank sensor problems it would usually turn over, and with a fubar'd starter you usually get a click
im gonna go for the battery, your stereo, lights, windows, etc draw a LOT less power than starting your car
check the relays in the fuse box under the bonnet for corrosion, also a few of...

the rotary switch is cheaper than the steering angle sensor, so depends which bit you need, but if its that then the part is ~£150 IIRC
lol, i dont set the prices mate, Renault do, and whilst i agree some of the prices for things are a joke, i do see the whole picture where parts are concerned, and OE is fit first time and always top quality, not like some of the parts the factors peddle
get down the dealers for one there not much, its a plastic 'click in' blade you cant just fit anything to it as the usual style clip is part of the arm not the blade
dont talk crap, factors sell many many different brands, 99% of which are cheap rubbish and are NOT the same as whats in the OE boxes
i know what your trying to say but your not correct in all cases, go buy some Ferodo pads from Halfords, even if the OE pads are Ferodo they are NOT the same...
hope they were OE for that price mate, as i can do a pair of OE discs for a touch less than a ton to CS members, and id hope for that kinda money your not buying cheap discs from euro car parts with bearings that will last 5 minutes
