The lead developer in an interview is saying he hopes BF becomes the new COD, as they have got lazy and resting on past achievements. He is right, BF is so much better. I'm still playing BC2 now, after I've stopped MW2 and BOs.
Headsets in general though reall do make you play better - my new TV won't work with my X31s though, willing to sell them for £50 or sensible offers if anyone is interested? PM me if so as they are really great but just sitting in my drawer at home right now :(
Just got this on the 360 and man is it difficult! Even easy AI is giving me grief, so tactical but I imagine rewarding when you get further into it.
Anyone else got this, if so, any tips, anyone??!?! :approve:
Difficult to say really, very difficult.
For me probably Mass Effect, as it was so far ahead of anything else like that I've played before, in so many ways, and changed the way I thought about games.
(Goldeneye was amazing though!!! :) )
In that case not sure mate but on 2003 on PC it messes up, just try a link. You can still have the screenshot above the link to keep it looking nice and should work in the same way you're just clicking on a link instead of an image.
What format of PP are you using? At work we have 2003 and it never works! I just put a link to the file now as it doesn't mess up. Nothing worse in a presentation and it not working!
Probably parachuted from a chopper I imagine!
Give it time though mate, it's better than COD in most ways, but more strategic so you might get owned for a while!
Had a good game on Nam last night, 12-1 but with LOADS of spotting as I was in recon class and providing lots of tactical mortars. I even shot a gunner from a moving chopper, although that was quite lucky!
I should have killed a lot more actually!
Wow. That's like a full time job for a year, possibly more given you don't work a whole day each day. Impressive and impressivelly sad in equal measures.
I am playing Worms 2 and Bayonetta now, and got Ruse on the way....just not had the time for this :( I do love it though.
Only played one but was good fun, atthe heart of it though is a good game with addictive upgrading and collecting...I'd play it now if I still had a DS!
Even better! Got the aerial person contracted to my flat's management company to come over. Within 20 minutes he had figured out both my issues so now I have HD Freeview and all channels on the TV in my room, happy days!
Signal strength is around 99% so very clear signal, plus the splitter has...
It's the only FPS other than Halo where I look back and feel like I had a proper war...it feels like you're there, things like COD are so arcadey and light in comparisson.
Think i'm going to have a blaps tonight!
Ok thanks mate I'll try that!
Worst case scenario though, say I ended up somehow using WAY more than my 10GB, would they cap it at the max. price (for the unlimited download package)?
I need to get back into this, not played for ages! Only thing I'm prefering on Black Ops right now is unlocking stuff, although on the 3rd prestige and it's getting a bit repetitive.
Funnilly enough I've also been playing Worms 2: Armaggedon online more - what a great game it is!!!
I was also thinking the same thing, but think there have been some issues with the developer (bought out or going under) - no formal messages either way but no news probably isn't good news here I think... sadly.
Yeh only really visible on bright but off-white backgrounds now, but still noticeable at times.
Annoying but not the end of the world - a warning to others though!
ANOTHER technology issue in my new place. Now BT claim I have already exceeded my monthly 10GB d/l quota - 15GB in 10 days apparently! I haven't downloaded a single song, film or game - just some basic browsing, streaming and 360 gaming. Nothing excessive at all.
How can this be possible...
Yes basically. I'm thinking more along the lines of modern auto guns - high accuracy, low recoil, scope attachments, smart ammo etc. Then vehicles like next gen APCs and tanks, or imagined technology of the next 10 years - rather than 50 years away.
Cannot wait for this. I would quite like a more modern setting, had enough of conventional weapons, yet don't necessarily want sci-fi. Something in the middle would be good!
Well it's getting better, but still there in bright backgrouds - highly annoying.
The picture quality of the TV is stunning though. Avatar on BluRay in THX mode was superb, TV itself is brilliant. The net connection is also great for iPlayer and YouTube purposes.
I don't get it - I sorted the issue by running an aerial connection in my lounge to a connection running into my room and for a while all was good. Great reception, all Freeview channels for TV and radio.
Then last week, ITV, C4 and C5 had gone! I still have all the other channels, and still...
Looks nice, personally though I just got an all in one system and I think for most purposes it's great in terms of quality and value.
Unless you have a massive room the capability of a £200-300 system should be plenty!
Cheers mate. It's getting slightly better, but still there. To be honest I am also surprised that such a basic thing can damage the screen, it's a bit stupid really. Overall loving the TV and in hindsight it is my fault ultimately, but there is no warning on the TV (or if there is, not...
