Think ill give up trying to justify the car. I like it I drive it that's all that counts. Most of you seem to have a chip on your shoulder about vauxhall for some reason, no idea what that just makes them bad cars when they're really not.

Nothing wrong with the design everything is perfectly placed at the right levels.

I've not heard any horror stories so far of 10 year old Astras going to pot. I was told horror stories of Clios but chose to ignore them.

It is JCC I like it.

It was 10 years old when I got it. It's put me off Clios if that's what they get like at that age.

Quite lucky mine is new pretty much as long as I stay on top of servicing I shouldn't have a problem. No problems to report of yet 9 months into ownership and not a niggle. My Clio on the other hand I was less than a month into ownership when all the problems began. It was downhill from there.
