Have had these on mine for road and track use. Personally think the Pirellis are my fave. Avons seem to wear a bit better and are a bit cheaper but don't give quite as good feel.
You get what you pay for, if you remember that when you're on track you'll be fine. DS2500s have been great for me, only time I've had a problem was when I pushed them a bit too hard at Oulton (on reflection I was braking very late and did a couple more laps than I should have). As long as you...

Spot on, all you need, just give other suspension parts the once over, the ARB whilst great isn't as important as fresh TREs and ball joints etc. If all is ok on that front then some good tyres and you're sorted for track.
