Yeah, prefer having the discs. Easier, and simpler. The cynic in me says this proposal for "the future" is just because producers don't like second hand game sales (although not sure why as they made a cut the first time the game was sold). Can't see games retailers being too happy either...
Not sure mate, what seemed different to you on it?
I like the game but got fed up on horde...you can't have a break! And most the people don't use their mics so you just get bored and/or die.
Furthest I got was 35...by which point I was bored senseless!
Er not sure...should come around in a few seconds?
I just completed the Broken Steel DLC today, was ok best of the 3 I have played so far, but still a bit anti-climactic. Plus I have soooo much ammo, caps and aid that I don't think I will ever die again...I haven't died for probably the last...
I have yet to get the latest DLC and still not finished the Pitt. Simply don't have the patience and got all the best guns really...want to transport my character into a world full of human controlled vault dwellers and duke it out really.
Cool didn't know that. As for the planes only had a go in one, and skimmed into the sea! I guess with more practice you get used to the controls though as you say.
Got the trial and had no problems. However I found the sniper class awful to play with...takes too long to go to scope, and then just doesn't seem to hit your target even though you are certain of it!
Another issue is that people, in general, just don't seem that good! I am by no means great at...
I think they are taking into account its an entirely DLC game though, where as the GTA content is an extension based on existing game and engine. If it was being judged as a "proper" retail game then sure it would be a bit lower.
Will download this weekend Brazo and then try setting up a CS...
I heard the graphics were remarkably good though for what is an exclusively DLC game? Also heard there were a few minor glitches but none that ruin the game. IGN gave it 8.5 and said that if you like online shooters this is wortwhile. As I skipped COD5 I may give this a go while I wait for COD6.
The power armour you get is quite good unless you have Tesla or T51B...the luck charm is very valuable though.
Quite a good little side quest that one.
I havent played F3 for ages, need to get the new DLC too and also finish The Pitt, which I found pretty boring when I first played it.
Sadly...
Apparently at E3 some GT5 developers were in the crowd when Forza 3 was being demoed and they were asking plenty of questions and making lots of detailed notes, kind of showing who the kings are these days!
With mate.
The new DLC sounds cool, nearly done Broken Steel, done Ancorage (which was boring), then got the Pitt. Currently level 22, but maxing out all the baddest weapons around. Sweet.
So annoying theending there though, I sent Fawkes in as he can stand the radiation but then in the ending dialogue it says Fawkes is a true hero...er I pretty much saved the world, he just went into a room he would survive in, RETARDS!
Best armour is the Tesla Armour - well if you use energy weapons, which you will do later on.
Alien blaster is found in the wreckage of a crashed alien spaceship, towards the north of the map. Have a look on a map on Google or something to see where it is. You will know when you get close as...
Roy, you should try Mass Effect if you like RPGs mixed with more realistic combat (albeit set in a futuristic setting) - has a more engaging story too in my opinion, but a bit slower to get going. Think you can get this on the PC as well as 360 can't you?
Does anyone know if I can get any more ammo for my alien blaster? Had a spree on hard difficulty in Old Olney against some Deathclaws...my device which was meant to stop them from attacking me did jack s**t!!
Fair play if Roy doesn't like it, at least he tried it. I have Far Cry 2 and didn't get into it despite loving the original.
I like the story in Fallout 3 nd just getting all the best weapons and stuff - for me was the game of last year, as I am still playing it now, 120 odd hours in!
Do you get any more EXP for cranking up the difficulty? I haven't died for probably the last 60 hours or so and got like 500 stimpaks and loads of everything else and my armour has 46 DR now.
I liked it when Liberty Prime was KOing all the Enclave and you just follow behind picking up ammo clip...
On level 21, SOO good to get a perk again, although most the new ones except Almost Perfect look a bit s**t really.
Doubt I will ever make it to level 30, considering even Enclave troops are only worth about 60 exp each and you need a good few thousand exp to go up at the higher levels :dapprove:
Yes there is! Plus some good new weapons and a decent new armout, the Enclave Hellfire suit.
I for one can't wait...collecting "ingots" in the Pitt can wait!
