Think so yeah. Going to go back to a save just before I started the Pitt, then do the end of the main game and then start the Pitt, otherwise all that XP in the addon would be wasted. Roy, you can assign quick keys on the console so sure you must be able to on PC. Yes boring at the beginning but it drags you in...seems like a lifetime ago I left the Vault and emerged into the wastelands...memories! ;)

110 hours for me now, not even started The Pitt or finished the main quest still either :o Although think I may be shooting myself in the foot as when Broken Steel comes out there won't be 10 levels of xp left to get I don't think!

Playing Ancorage and it's pretty s**t so far. feels like a different game. I am only doing it for the perk you get for all the intels though and the weapons and armour. Only played about 40 minutes so far and got 4/10 intels already though?!?

I like long range weapons, plasma rifle and reservist rifle all the way. Since being captured by Enclave Cross Palladin seems to have done a runner but Fawkes is a lot sicker and less annoying. She has got shitload of weapons and the T51B armour though - like most women just as things start...

Exactly, my sneak skill is only on about 30 plus the bobblehead, everything else is at least twice as high. Melee and unarmed is pretty pointless too, although using the deathclaw gauntlet can be fun!

VATs...it was just next to useless from long range, and close up I was getting pummelled at the start! Also WTF is the BB gun even in the game for, that actually is useless!

Yeah Mirelurks and Yao Guais early on are tough as. Mutants can also be tough. I remember hiding behind cover, ducking out and taking about 20 shots with my hunting rifle to take down a standard mutant. As you go on though no enemies really pose much of a threat, only perhaps a Enclave squad...

Why will BR be out of date soon, it is still not even mass adopted yet? And in the meantime, a decent BR player will upscale normal DVDs and give you the option of playing BRs, which in general do look stunning.

Except for repairingi items yes it is! Although most the repairers are pretty crap, apparently you can invest in some by Cantebury Commons and they can get better at it. Having said that I still only have about 3000 caps now!

The bit that took me a while was getting into Paradise Falls and using the mesmetron, then breaking the kids out without killing the people in the camp. In hindsight I would probably have just killed them...
