TBH, if it smells of oil fitting a catch tank wont really make that go away. Might be worth finding out why its smelling first, as mine still smells even with a catch tank.

Worst mounts ever IMO. You need to undo the top nut, then undo the locking ring, and then just slid out the strut. They look like this -

not without the correct brackets. But then again, you can make anything fit with the right ones...

I've always heated the ones I've fitted. Can see it immediately help it. It either goes on perfect or it doesn't, can be a pain sometimes.

I have no orange peel on my zagg case front or bag, and its fit perfeclty. It did take me about an hour though, heating it up etc along the way.
