being in parts i dont actually do the coding so im not 100%, however from what i understand it all runs through the UCH so id imagine that would need to come from the other car aswell, and i know that stores the VIN number so still prob wouldnt work, hardly worth it, just buy a proper one
thats the one !............a '344' as we call it fits nearly every non RS Clio II, newer versions of Dialogys always say not for this vehicle when you click on the ABS ring
as above, keys used on other vehicles cannot be coded to work on your car, try it and pay for coding twice by all means
lol and i do work at Renault, in parts, so i do know what im talking about
most DO need to be heated to get on, most non RS models are 26 teeth, and on the parts system it usually wont provide a number for the ABS ring on its own, what you are being told by your dealer is correct !
however, i do have an ABS ring at work which is suitable for nearly all non RS models...
already tried that, did nothing
i put some power spray on before and it seems potent stuff, didnt shift it though, but it was dirty already so maybe now its clean i should try it again
on my Fabia vRS i can get 95% of the dirt and carbon build up off with metal polish and 00 wire wool, however ive some bits that just wont shift
any suggestions ?......im nippin Morrisons in a min to get some Fairy Power Spray to try that on it, i want my tailpipe to look like this !
thats fantastic !
can i ask how long you worked the FF on each panel, and how much you used on your pad ?.....recently been informed ive been using too much product on my pads
IIRC they went to virgin plips some time in 01, a replacement for yours may have to be issued from Renault France, so you might be looking at a 2 week wait, and a bill for ~£150
its 99% certain those other keys you have will be useless
Re: Mk1 Hybrid Project
i might have some 15" steels mate, but i think they might be off a Scenic so not sure if they will fit ?
your welcome to come take them to try on the car see how they are and go from there
as above, use small pieces and once they are full of bits you have to throw it away, dont make the mistake of using the whole bar in the first instance
ive had this conversion done, and although the results were brilliant, i wouldnt do an engine conversion ever again
i spent a lot on the engine before it went in, silicone hoses, chrome bits, balancing, etc etc
sadly i had an accident in it and the car was wrote off, insurance offered me...
