It will make it go up from what you paid for the car but it wont raise the value of the car to what it will have cost you to put them on. For example the car costs £600 you put £250 alloys on it. The car wont then be worth £850 Colour coding it will make it look a hell of alot better however...

If you spin up well enough you want to go through the water/oil.... It doesnt work though when people just drive through it then straight upto the line for obvious reasons. But they put it there for a good reason.
