You know my views. Best trophy here. Done!
I liked it when it was on the h&r's and black compomotive wheels, but love the way it looks now
As mentioned in previous posts, the blue on the steering needs to be changed. Both red top strip or all black with a red band sound good :)
Looking...
Spotted you driving through the village around 6ish tonight. Had stripes and a private plate (j18...?)
I see you having a look at the bright orange "modified" escort at the shops lol ;)
Cheers for that, I'll attack that either this afternoon or tomorrow.
As for the pads I know that they don't really do much but I got them for the same price as oem ones off my mate tom so seemed a no brainer.
No probs tony, thanks for the spot earlier ;)
That was going to be my next question! Thanks for that :) its definitely more slack. Have you got any pics? I remember seeing a thread here earlier when searching through for my op problem but can't remember the thread title.
Yes and taken it for a blast. I know pads need bedding in so could be that. I took ht down the country lanes behind me for 15mins or so and felt to be better towards the end.
I haven't touched any hoses or anything like that so theoretically it should be as good as before? It might just be in...
After you mentioned this I looked and you was right. There all correct now, so good spot :)
They seem a tad spongy, although that could be placebo? Handbrake needs adjusting also, is that common?
I took the pads out like mike said and levered the on the disc and it's done! Sometimes it's the simple things that leave us confused lol
Thanks chaps :)
Need a bit of cs help/guidance.
Im changing the rear brake pads as we speak. I've managed to undo carriers, slot metal lower sleeve out, pop off springs replaced old pads with new and then done the reversal.
Ive gone to put the carriers back on but my caliper carrier bolt holes don't line up...
Re: CSS... Meet at 7.15am Lakeside!
The south mimms are meeting from 8:15 with the intention of aiming to leaving at 9:00 but you know what these things are like :rasp:
Thats a fairly big waiting time, but of you lot want to lay and leave a bit later I'm sure we will wait if you're on route :)...
Last year all clio with tickets parked together as you see in the pics. There were marshals (admin) than were locating spaces.
The non clio ticket holders had there own bit on the green just off the clio area.
What do people recommend for a hand cutting polish/compound for removing swirl marks by hand?
When I polish my car it's looks like swirl central and and I don't have a machine polisher :(
I normally use poorboys blackhole and either nattys paste wax or ag hd wax on top.
Thanks guys :)
When the weather looking like its going to be a good one I'll try and sort one out.
There loads of space and its very flat so even cars withe lows can come :)
Thanks mate :o
