Ye I got mine from caraudiodirect aswell.. but my wheel works fine for going up and down tracks.. I got the one with the display aswell so instead of having nothing on the centre console it says ALPINE or if you go up a track it says Seek Up + or Seek Down - etc

I dont bother with auto lights TBH.. i know when I need the lights on and when I dont.. Unfortunatly it isnt much better though, as if you pull the stalk too far back it clicks on full beam aswell.. kinda like when you have auto lights on but without the click ;)

Nah, its happend to mine a couple times since I bought it.. rebooting it does the trick.

totally agree, but even steping up from using the standard cables to the VGA cables on my plasma made an awesome difference !! running at highest resolution was a totall difference !

Yep.. deffo the dvd drive that makes the noise.. the unit is quite quiet when your not playing a game.. which is a shame as thats kinda what its designed to do lol.. also if you move your 360 from standing to flat or vice versa when playing a game the drive will scratch your disk up to buggery...

To remove steering wheel.. Disconnect battery from the car and leave for about 1-2 hours for the airbags to fully discharge.. believe me you dont want an airbag going off when you have your head right next to it trying to remove it.. it could kill you ! Once you have left it with the battery...
