Are they running svn or builds ? if its svn then thats what happens. Run the builds for proper stability. I now use a 3 system (6 encoder) myth system at my work and its rock solid, never once crashed.

www.mythtv.org is all you need. Will record all your shows, change the channel on the sky box using an iR blaster, grab the program guide data.. allow exporting to almost any format you can think of including easy (few buttons on your remote) exporting to DVD with chapter menu's etc. Its works...

There will be a hidden system recovery partition on the main OS drive. There is normally an application pre-installed that allows you to burn 1 copy (and one only) of a recovery disk from the hidden partition.

If you had a proper relational database you would be in better control of the returned data. All im saying is if you set it up keeping in mind what sort of queries your going to be running and use a proper data model then you make it easier for yourself in the long run. Experience teaches you...

If you dont set up proper relational databases then you run into problems like above so ye it was helpfull.

Technically the 8v will produce more low rev torque, but off the line the 16v owner can hold the revs at 4-5k or whatever.. so no the 16v would win everytime.

Ye, the rear discs come with the bearings pre-pressed in. Had to change mine a while back, not cause the disc was worn but because the bearing was fooked.

Its because of tough Euro emmission laws, its not a fault.. its the only way they could get it through the emmissions tests to make it run lean..

Have you tried replacing the arms aswell, the springyness in the arms can go causing them to jump and not wipe properly.
