Obviously the Phase 1 V6 and the Trophy are different cars!
Im just saying for what hes asking (and it certainly aint cheap) and the miles are considerably higher than other examples i have seen. I personally would rather have a trophy :o
Im sure someone posted that agggges ago, as said.
The miles dont warrant that price in the current market seeing as you can get a LY Phase 2 with less miles for a few grand less, at least i dont think so anyway
You can never show too much man love to the VTS lol
I especially love it when the haters arrive and hail it as the anti-christ, it makes life trully worth while coming on here lol
Nice mate, Saxo is trully under estimated as a step up without scaring the shite out of insurane companies.
You should (once you get your claims up) invest in a VTS, beautiful little things, eh mini-valver?
You have picked a perfect car for track work, id love to track the Phase 1 but i would never forgive myself if i binned it as shes the 2nd lady in my life lol:o
Jesus H Christ @ that quote
Try Elephant, Bell or Admiral there all the same company (EUI ltd)
Also if theres more than 2 cars in your household then it might be worth doing a multi car quote, we have 5 cars insured for £1850.
Theres alot of different variations in getting a proper figure and not alot of places have that accurate set-up tbh
Room temp, Tyre Pressure, Fan placement, miles on the car etc
Im intrested to see what my car would make being nearly 8 years old but i fear it might be money wasted as alot...
Ive had my Phase 1 since March last year and ive only ever had to replace one faulty coil pack. I really cant fault it apart from that. The only other achillies heel of the Renault Sport range, and i think i pretty much speak for everyone when i say the exhausts are really poorly constucted...
Or....
When leaving your car for the night (when you know its going to be icy) Open both your doors and the boot and let the cold air in for a few minutes then in the morning none of your windows will have ice on them :D
Not a piss take btw
For future mate, dont use Halfrauds.
I wouldnt trust them to diagnose a lit petrol light tbh
Use euro car parts over in MaryHill mate, cheap as chips for parts!
Not overly-expensive but then it does depend on what your intending to spend! >>>

This isnt the argument mate, the argument is, is it going to be expensive/plausible/worth while spending a fortune on modifications to a normally asspirated car when you could spend the same on a Subaru/Mitsubishi and get far better gains and retain relaibility
Somthing tells me he never lifted the bonnet to check if there was even an engine there when he went to buy it himself...
"The car has had a renault 5 turbo engine conversion and it recently had a uprated head gaskit and head bolts. It has a stage 1 head it has an uprated cam so i been told by...
