just the fact that toyota sell massive amounts of relativley cheap cars and have a reputation for highest customer service. Granted the range is lacking more sportier options. I have tried 5 renault dealers in my area and they go from s**t to v.s**t.

How is it that Toyota mange it then!!! I dont hate renault, I find it frustrating that a 172/182 could be an awesome motor alround. Value, yes they are. If you get a good one, you sorted, a bad one and then your in the s**t. It will be easier for those who work for renault to get problems...

Have a good look over both, when I bought my 172, i was prepared to have either, but got the best deal on a MK2.

Certainly wouldnt be buying of a dealer who wouldnt let you test drive..... Wierd that one. Peugeot feels better put together, even thought they have got worse record for reliability. The GTI180 is nowhere near as fun to drive, but as said above, drive both.

I found glass' to be very unrepresentitive of current market values....Even got the insurance to payout +£500 on glass' price.

My thoughts entirely. They are throwing repeat buisness away, especially considering Renaultsport is there Premium Brand. I would happily have bought another if the Customer Service is was better. Its sad to admit that skodas are better built.

^^ Agree the are several car manufacturers who do. VW are replacing defect alloys out of warranty... Car never had them during recall £1500 of BBS will be replaced.... Awesome. Hence why people buy them over and over again.... renault could well to learn....

had this on my 182, what doesnt look bad turns into expensive job, people hardly believed me as they could hardly tell. lol Felt like rippin the bumper off so I got some sympathy...

Did you have a passenger at the time?? Check the relays under the passenger side dash.... often people knock them if they put there feet too far up. Lazy renault didnt put a cover there to protect them.

As above, no spare on the Cup. Will be one of them women things when they tell you something was the there and it never was....;)
