Only for minor swirls really, anything more severe you will need something with a little more cutting compound in it. Or failing that, a PC treatment, although I still have't got round to this myself yet. Having said that, considering my car is just 3 years old, it is in impeccable condition bar...
Just tried placing an order yesterday, and PayPal decided that my new bank card is "invalid" for some reason (although it definitely works).
So, at the moment I have an order on their system but can't pay for it via PayPal. I have emailed Graham but so far no response - does anyone know if he...
This is very true! Moral of the story - don't get multispoke wheels! A fact I had overlooked on this occassion as if I had thought about it I would have said that I use a short wheel brush when doing multispokes.
Has anyone got a Wheel Schmitt? They are meant to be pretty good and would be...
It's not the amount that will decide if it works or not, so AG EnM should do the job nicely, just agitate it well and rinse of thoroughly. That is what it is designed to do.
Yeh I used AG Engine & Machine yesterday, after driving about 1000 miles on motorway and B roads, through rain and snow. Simply spray liberally round the arches, then use a brush or a sponge to aggitate. Then rinse off. I finished with some CG Silk Shine dressing and CG vinyl dressing for looks...
It is a good idea anyway even without discounts as a reference tools. Plus it doesn't make us look like complete losers having loads of detailing sites saved on our favourites!;)
CG Wheel Guard works really well for me, used with Collinite's 476s it is pretty much a case of dribbling on the wheels to bring them up even when covered with cack.
Use CG's Wheel Guard - really god stuff and very quick and easy to apply and remove.
I followed this up with 2 coats of Collinite's 476s and the results are awesome. I can pretty much clean the wheels with my hand (if I was so inclined!)
That is a farce mate. I played around with loads of different quotes before getting my policy. Like you said, if you had asked for a quote on a Ferrari, or changed your age, would they like to accept that information?
I would tell them in no uncertain terms that unless they change policy you...
You will want a polish rather than a wax (or some sealants marginally cover them up).
If you are scared of PCing yourself I am sure someone else can be encouraged with the promise of green paper... my car is still a PC virgin as couldn't afford one after spending too much last month! Think I...
I can't believe that a paint protection system also restores it so well also. How do they apply it by hand? Probably just fills the imperfections in rather than removing it.
I haven't tried that but the CG Silk Shine spray is really good, not glossy but leaves a very smooth and anti-static finish. Smells good too without being overpowering. I like...
Glue and tar, otherwise I found that windscreen wash does a great job at removing adhesives, it is a solvent after all. Just make sure to wipe off and apply some dash spray once you have done.
Yeh, but even using it like a sponge I don't think obsessive car cleaning is an attractive quality in terms of pulling. Although I like to think that it shows how attentive and caring I am.....
Haha...so pleased not just me that gets that! Sometimes I have to stop even when I could continue just because of what other people must be saying. Plus pretty cold and dark this time of year, would make life a lot better having a covered and heated garage.
Plus I think I blew my chances with...
At least you have a garage to work in, unfortunately my house is at the bottom of the street so everyone driving past sees me every Sunday out there. They all look at me with a bemused smile, like "nice car, but get a life!!" and at times I tend to agree.
Because it means people like me can't afford one? Works as a reason for me. No way can I justify spending that amount on a games console - would be good if I could but too expensive for me.
