    I dont have this on my ph1 172! Strut is held together with a flat nut and the strut passes through the mount. Where do these fit ?

    Im addressing the bodywork. Tried to find a couple of new wings but impossible, discontinued items. Bought a plastex kit and got into fixing some minor damage, may take them to get repainted in the next few days. Have been lucky to find a really good bonnet in yellow which has no stone chips in...

    54 and a sunflower owner. I was pulled over one night for going a bit quick, you should have seen the officers face when he came up to the drivers window !

    All back together again after fitting a new cambelt kit, idles smoother now and picks up very nicely. Took me over a week to do but that includes waiting for new parts to arrive and I resealed the cam cover as it was leaking, for reference I used loctite 518. I replaced all of the fasteners...
