    Cordless DA polisher?

Most of the big tool companies (Dewalt, Milwaukee etc..) make cordless DA's. So if you are in the market for other power tools, it might be worth having a look.

    Cordless DA polisher?

Have you got any other power tools? if you do, it might be worth getting that brand so you can use the same batteries. If not, go for a flex cordless machine. Probably the best cordless machines on the market right now for all round stuff. Depends what kind of work you are doing if it will...

    The new tool thread

Just checked, theres a long sticker that runs down the magazine. It will say 'Type 3 ' directly below the model number like shown here https://webimg.secondhandapp.at/1.1/5e19eded7c63c62b1bee85f4

Will say on the sticker on the side of the machine im pretty sure. In fairness, the type 3 has been out a while now as they pulled the type 2 because of its issues. So its most likely a type 3

    The new tool thread

Seeing as its new, id assume its the type 3 model. If thats the case then id go for it. The type 1 was crap, the type 2 was plagued with issues of jamming and misfiring. That being said, our type 2 is like 3 years old and hasnt missed a beat. They are heavy though, and the kick back is pretty...

Out of that selection id go with the Megs stuff purely because ive seen it work pretty well. The one thing you wanna watch for is residue control. If its single stage paint that heavily oxidised your pads will clog pretty fast. Either blow them out or use a pad brush after each set. Id recommend...

That machine is a beast ! Ive had mine since it was first released and i love it. It can get a bit heavy with a 5ah battery but the power it has is amazing. Being cordless means its really useful for doing roofs as well. I approve of your purchase :)

Let me know how you find it. Rubber trims give me nightmares. But as i said, a good clean up will work wonders. The same trick applies to remove browning from tires if normal cleaning methods dont work

Clean them up first by using some tar remover on a cloth. Just needs a drop on an old microfibre. Lightly wipe it over the rubber to remove some of the dead crap on the surface. Make sure to wash it off and then use a water based all purpose dressing on them. Let it soak in, give it another coat...

    Clay mitts

Those synthetic clay systems seem to work differently to regular clay. I found that they benefit from a bit of extra speed when doing the back and forth motions. It seems like they dont pick up contamination like regular clay, but seem to knock it loose. I also found that a rinse of the panel...

Best things ever made for cleaning interiors. I use them with a bit of apc and some steam. They can clean everything, plastics, steering wheels, fabrics, leather. Also found them quite good for tyres and trims once they have reached end of life for interior. Id also recommend the scrubber gloves...

    Clio 200 keycard replacement needed

Honestly, best place i found was the dealership. If its the keyless version, those cards are really hard to get hold of without ordering direct from Renault France as they are coded to the vin when they are made. I found this out the hard way recently. i paid 275 for the card and programming...

Seems to be the right one. I had the same issue with mine and literally just found one with matching part numbers. Never had any trouble with it

Is that even running on all 4 cylinders ?

Clio mk3 dci oil filter removal

As far as i can remember, you just need to remove the air inlet hose and you should be able to get to it. Its not the best location. To make it any easier you'd have to strip the front end off, and even then it wouldn't be much better. I had a 2006 dci, so things might have changed on the newer...

Kwazar. Ive had mine for a year and ive abused it. Pumped litres of BH Surfex through it. Even let if freeze a few times. Hasnt let me down once, even after being frozen solid. If it broke right now, id buy another straight away.

Location of Clio Mk3 drain holes

I mean, most people remove the rubber tube and just leave the hole instead to try and stop it blocking Im not sure about access underneath. You might be able to, but i cant see it being very easy. You would have to reach right up through from underneath

Location of Clio Mk3 drain holes

As far as i remember there are only 2 in the scuttle panel, one either end. Easiest way is to remove the scuttle cover, it can be quite tight access otherwise. There's a rubber tube in the drains that gets clogged, most people sack the tube off which stops it getting blocked with crap. Ive done...

White Gloss Paint all over my LY

Id recommend a steamer if you have one. The heat helps to soften it and the water removes it. Failing that, gently heat gun it to soften it back up and use a plastic scraper. With regards to the paintwork, hopefully you got it all off before it dried. But im sure a clay bar would help to remove...

    Infinity Wax Supergloss+ Spray Wax

I used some of that just the other day. Really easy to apply. Literally wipe on, wipe off. Spreads nicely, once the applicator is primed you really dont need much. It does say that you can leave it up to 15 mins but i wouldn't recommend it. 5 mins would be my max as it does become a bit grabby...
