If I cut the car shell up and take it to the metal recyclers. What do I do with the V5 logbook?

Hi All, I have a clio body shell which needs to be scrapped. I have rang a few local crap yards/ metal recycling company's and they would not collect as it doesn't have wheels. does anyone know where i could get such service? Regards James L

I have rang my insurance, and it turns out 2/3 of the cars are insured by the same company, like what all you guys said, i didn't have to pay a penny and the last guy in the crash was at blame. Thanks for all your help James

I stopped because there was traffic. i have the front camera footage that clearly shows standstill traffic. So i think I'm covered both ways. Thanks for all the advise so far

Hi, Many thanks for the replies. I have a total of £550 excess on my policy (Bell Insurance) and i have to pay it regardless of whos fault it is. The main thing is i don't really want my insurance to go up, nor do i want to lose my no claims etc Didn't know i could ring the 3rd party directly...

Fitted new polybush front engine mount and dogmount bushes. It has deffo changed the way the car feels in terms of braking, accelerating and gear changes. Highly recommended the two. Only downside is there is more vibration in the cabin at idle and high revs

Hi all, Having missed my old 1.4 Clio after selling it 5 years ago. i now have gone and bought myself a 2003 Clio 172 with 51k on the clocks i have to say the car is awesome! I do however have 1 or two problems with the car. nothing that cant be easily fixed. e.g. exhaust mount needs replacing...

also like to know the answer as mine does the same

Thanks for the reply, I've connected the speakers to an amp and they worked for like 2 days then they stopped working again, connected it to a different amp same problem stopped working after a few days. you think there's some wiring problem from the speakers that is killing the amps?

ive used them for my sidestrips bumper etc, the paint is slightly off but nothing really noticable

alpine has 1 pin on each side that u push up to release the H/U

my mum actually has to do that on her car, bend the key in to get the immobiliser to work. so its definatly worth a try!!
