We have increase the water cooling as well as the air flow into the engine bay.
We will have plenty of parameters being logged to ensure the engine is running correctly.

Thanks Chip, didn't know my Motorsport Engineering Degree was "mickey mouse".
Cooksport is made up of myself (Josh), Mike Ritchie (ex Ktec) and one other share holder. Between the team we have a massive amount of experience when building standard, high power and race engines.
Chip, you are...
This is our road car. Ultimately the engine will end up dead, its the whole point in pushing it to see what breaks first. My bet is the crank or block (probably block), but lets see if we can hit 700bhp before that happens ;)
Just dont loose sleep over it. We want to push the standard block to see what its capable of, as with the gearbox, crank etc.
So thats what we are doing.
600bhp is our safe estimate. Hopefully more.
Yes, it will hopefully be at Rockingham for our next Clio Cup meeting and the coming Renaultsport track day at Brands Hatch.

Re: Cooksport Megane, Big power Build...
Well, there was a graph that read similar to that but it wasnt. It was nearer 380-390bhp. But the power delivery was epic.
:)
Re: Cooksport Megane, Big power Build...
This is being used on the road, circuit and strip.... gearbox on wing nuts..:clown:.
Should be finished in a few weeks.
Re: Cooksport Megane, Big power Build...
On a non-return basis? lol!
This should hopefully be the most powerful Megane in the world. Turbo is good for about 750 wheel horse power. :)
