I suppose the silver door handles are a must for the non RS variant. My girlfriend has a 1.6 Dynamique and I was surprised to see that they don't come standard.

I'd trade my soul for an Exige in white. :/

Love both. MK1's look s**t hot from the front, the standard rear end lets them down slightly though imo. White is hot!

I can see this thread just getting filled up with pictures of standard RS dash boards. I'm sure you've all seen a Cup dial set before so I won't post.. :P

Sounds like a great day. I think with this sort of thing you have to arrange a big group of people to attend, i.e. 30+. Does sound awesome though.

I had my Cup at 21, after an accident in my old (first) car. I spent ages saving up for it, and in the end I bought one despite the fact that the accident put my insurance quote up to £2k at the time... ..and I'd do it all again!

Get the Cup mate, you will not look back. I f**king love mine.. can't see me getting rid of it in the near future.

The main reason I chose the Cup over the FF was its looks, colour/wheel combo. Plus the fact that I couldn't care a s**t for ABS, TC or ESP. I got the CC/AC though, which I'm glad about.

^ lol. My n/s suspension squeak, stone chips, wheels need a refurb etc. I also hate the way the wipers seem to have a mind of their own at times, it only seems to be a problem when the wiper switch is in it's slowest position and the stick is fully up. Strange.

Mondial! :) .... then Iceburg without a doubt. Standard 172 wheels look much better against Iceburg than any other colour. If you're gonna swap the wheels then I'd probably change my mind..

How about.. silver?

That looks so damn shiny. Don't like the 172 sticker in the rear side windows, don't see the point of it tbh. 70mm sounds crazy! You're a braver man than I. :)

Don't like the plates but apart from that it looks showroom mate.

You know you want the Cup. ;) If it was a toss up between a black or silver 172 though, I'd have the silver any day. They look awesome when clean, the wheels suit that colour better too, I think.

Don't like that ariel mate. Car looks spot on though, very clean indeed. I cleaned the Cup today, then it pissed down, keeps happening to me. Head unit looks sweet too. :)

The blue on the 172 Cup is called Mondial Blue and was only available on this model. The closet you'll get is Arctic Blue available on the 182 models.
