Why does it always rain 10 minutes after I clean my car
Anyway pretty standard with Cup pack and standard seats (very comfy!)
IGT Filter and Bluefin remap (oh god some will disaprove no doubt)
It goes very well and the bluefin brings the torque down lower down making town progress a bit...
Love it - an orange one in the next road opposite West Thames College - I had a Fulvia 1.3s with a flat 4 and two twin choke carbs back in the late 70's - one word about Lancias RUST.
I have a 10 plate 200 and I get early to mid twenties out of mine but I live in south west london so rush hour traffic from hell and more potholes than all of bagdad
Wasn't that happy with the Conti Sports fitted so I'm not that upset that I found this in one of the fronts - I found the Conti's very vague and uniformative and have replaced them on previous motors - I'm sure some swear by them (and each to their own) but I swear at them
So apart from money...
RS 200 with cup pack.
Had some issues with mine pulling to the left and fitted a new strut - all working fine and allignment done. Runs straight for a week at most but then pulling to the left yet again
Another allignment (at Merityre in Sunbury who have done dozens of cars for me!) and toe...
Got the car back and now booked into SMC Weybridge to get the wishbone sorted ??? And on the way home some d*ckhead drove straight into the back of the car on his scooter - he was ok and so was his scooter but the rear valance on mine has got a large chip out of it as well as several massive...
So car went in this morning
Subframe ok but - offside lower balljoint has loads of play in it and there is a tiny bit of give in the nearside top strut mount?!?!?!?!?
Oh and still needs a clean - b*gger
27.8 from Hounslow (well someone has to live there) to Ilford (er ditto) but i think we got blown back in the gales last night so wind power may have contributed
Still getting used to my RS 200 - its quite different to the fast Fords i've had recently. When I got the car it pulled slightly to the left and assumed the toe was out and a 4 wheel alignment would sort it out.
Had that done last weekend and it still pulls very slightly left. As both wheels...
agreed - I didnt buy this (or any other car) because it had fantastic MPG - few seldom actually do what they say on the tin
Brother in law had a diesel smart car which was supposed to do 60mpg or something but rarely did he see much more than 40 - and how can you drive like your grandma in...
Pretty poor in west London averaging early 20's in rush hour gridlock -on the few times I've been on the motorway it seems to creep higher into high twenties -still pretty low - was expecting better
