Each to their own I suppose. They're actually friends of an employee though, don't seem THAT braindead.
Will be my first time going to Autosport, should be a nice change from the usual Chav-fest.
My work won't shut up about it lol, they say it's a really good show, we actually have promo-girls this year too! Score! 2 quite fit blondes lol. (You're definitely coming over now arn't you Chip ;))
Getting our stand together now.
Mine's scratched after 4 DAYS! Anyone know of any generic device issues I can use to get a replacement?
I literally put it on my desk at work, slid it slightly (idiot I know) and it's scratched, think there was some dust on my desk...
Re: Upgrade to Espace (2 Pot) Calipers -> Wich discs ?
Some 15" wheels fit over the 308mm upgrade people put onto their Corsa Cs, all depends on the offset and design of the wheel.
Yesterday I replaced my cat-exhaust clamp (with fresh silicone based exhaust sealant) and replaced both read hangers as the left pipe was on the piss so may aswell replace them both.
Only to notice the OEM exhaust has a hole in it, about the size of a hole punch... gotta get that welded...
Hmm! Just got the cambelt done a month ago, so I have no more fixes for the clio now. I was going to start a few modifications anyway, may be a good excuse to get some decent tyres and suspension set-up ;)
Thought it might be the case, it's just the outer edge too, which makes me think they cant be under inflated because it would wear on both inner and outer.
I've got T1-R's up front, 205/45/16 on regular 182 wheels, I've noticed a lot of wear on the outer edge of both sides, probably due to me taking corners fairly quickly, testing the cars capabilities. Is this due to too much flex in the tyre wall, or some other reason? Car had it's tracking done...
Dont get a tuning box, it just chucks loads of fuel in, ramps up the pressure and causes black smoke too! get a remap, it'll sort it right out.
We've done quite a few 1.9 DCI scenics and they see some decent gains.
My old 1.8 SRi isn't far off the 182 pace, mine rolled 157bhp with the usual breathing mods and a remap. Throw some cams in there and you've got 170bhp, change the inlet manifold for a dbilas and you're looking at near 180.
I did around 1600 miles this year in france, the clio was fine on the motorway, wasn't uncomfortable at all and it was perfectly fine cruising on the motorway. 80-90mph ish.
I didn't see a single other RS model Renault either, I thought I'd see them everywhere, was very odd!
