Some good stuff in there and ignoring all the awesome stuff. Seems to be a lot of streamlining going on, which is probably pretty tough considering the amount of platforms on Android.
Apple is no doubt awesome but I am a big fan of Android!!
I love the pull down menu as well! Also I like the lockscreen music controls which work with Spotify. I use an Aux lead in my car sometimes into the headunit so this is important for me to be able to skip tracks easily.
RC4 but ran RC2, Cynaogen is much like Stock Google OS with some handy tweaks and extras. MIUI is a massive change over stock. I just didnt like the feel. It felt too much like an iPhone to be honest.
1. Battery life is on a Par with iPhone perhaps slightly better. But it does have a removable battery so you could carry two batterys that were fully charged if you wanted
2. Apps I havent found anything I needed that was not available in the App Market. It has come a LONG way in the past 12...
I have to say you are completely wrong! Firstly because you havent owned or used a Nexus S for any length of time.
I swapped from my iPhone 4 to the Nexus S nearly 4 months ago and wouldnt go back to the iPhone. For me the Nexus is far more flexible. I also like buggering around with it, it...
After some advise from the current PC geeks. I have not really kept abreast with PC tech for going on 3 years now. More than capable of building a system.
I have a friend who wants a new system. Has about £300-350 to spend. Base unit only. No monitor needed. Wont be used for gaming mainly...
LG Optimus 2X out soon. However a 1GHZ CPU which can be overclocked. Mine is running 1.4GHZ along with the other speed tweeks is plenty enough :)
I would reccomend rooting and flashing a new ROM and a new Kernel with the Voodoo sound driver in.
It will be a little while I suspect. Plus the Nexus S will get Honeycomb first I believe. If you can hold off a month. Have a look at thr LX Optimus 2X it is Dual Core with HDMI out and 1080P Recording amongst other things.
Out of the two above, having owned a Desire and a Nexus I would go...
Pretty much already done.
UPDATE #1: As expected, the new firmware kills all homebrew. The update includes a new .self file with a new, previously unknown, key inside. This means all homebrew tools will have to be updated in order to restore functionality. More to come.
UPDATE #2...
I have a dead early Time Capsule, 3 of the Caps on the PSU have bulged and begun leaking, this is down to overheating. The caps they used are actually decent quality. Just replaced them and it is working fine now.
Exactly where I ordered it from ;0) They look very good.
gabi_cav if Gmail and POP sync over 3G is anything to go by it is very efficent. I cannot comment on Exchange sadly. This was on Vodafone.
It is much different to a Desire, plus you can configure it the way you want anyway if you so Desire. Grip wise not had any issues. I have ordered a skin for it, as all the cases are too bulky. I just want something to protect it. It is very light and does feel cheap to be honest when compared...
Battery is about the same as iPhone to be honest, perhaps slightly better but it is use dependant.
I have to agree using the KB on the Nexus is worse than the iPhone however I am getting used to it. Certainly better than the Desire keyboard though I had last year (But this was an older breed...
I have a Nexus S and a iPhone 4 at the moment. Really liking the Nexus S. I had a Desire previously and then sold for the iPhone 4. I think I am preferring the Nexus at the moment. Will be selling the iPhone 4 and living with the Nexus for a while, if I dont like it, I can always flog it on and...
Maybe but the money it will save me in fuel on my weekly trips to the range would be the equiv to around 250 rounds of factory ammo! ;)
It is the 120bhp 1.9 yep.
Yeah you mentioned that ;) Sure they will but all cars have bits fail, do not forget I am coming from a 172 so used to bits breaking! I do not see how the whole of the dash fell off. It is on there solid unless it was removed previously.
Yeah pretty much mate. Would have been about £2600-2700 with a newish clutch in I guess. He was going to part ex and was offered £1300 so he snapped my hand off.
Clutch is about £450-500 supplied and fitted. Clutch is about £175 quids. Interior is nice. Bit more of a soul than an Audi A4/A3.
Knows it Ali san. I would have loved a GTA however I did not really want to spend another £6-7K odd!
Decided to go Diesel as I get my speed thrills from the bike. Wanted something comfy and fairly solid (Yes I know it is an Alfa)
Picked it up for £1900, needs a clutch which a friend and me are doing up at Audi this weekend. Only a couple of owners, with mainly motorway miles (109K). Lot of...
