Thought I'd jump on the bandwagon! I've re-sized them to make them load a bit quicker. Bear in mind this was my first outing with the DSLR so still trying out new things and experimenting etc...

The Trophy was me! Got absolutely soaked to the bloody skin up there!

Makes you think just how fast those drivers at the very top are eg. Loeb, Gronholm et al...

I went from a 172 Cup to a Trophy - it's like driving a totally different car and the handling is on a completely different level. The Cup feels spongey in the corners in comparison, you really have to experience it for yourself to know what I mean.

I was on a 4-day course there last week (Wyboston Lakes) and seen two RS's - a trophy on the A1 and a Silver 172 in Tesco..

I think this has been spotted quite a few times around Swansea (once by myself a few months back); don't think the owner is a member on here.

I would say that a VTR / Zetec-S = "Warm Hatch" Not in the same league as the 172/182/CTR/VTS etc, all of which I would describe as "Hot Hatches". I would agree that the Focus ST et al would be classed as high powered family cars.

This morning around 8am, pretty sure there was a CS sticker in the rear window.

I quite like a relatively standard VTS; however after seeing the remains of my mates after a head on collision I wouldn't go near one. It just crumpled like an old newspaper.

21 - Cup 23 - Trophy

Hi Sarge, another one who lives not too far from you, just down the A465 in fact - Resolven. So you pass me by when you're on the way to Swansea. I'll keep an eye out!

When I was looking for a Trophy a few months back I noticed one in Gravells at the time, they had it up for £12995 with around 20k on the clock. Suffice to say I didn't bother to ring them. I also had a quick look in Swansea Renault around the same time on the enterprise park as I was passing...

Don't like the sound of those "smoked rear lights", it looks like a boy racer who has stretched his mother's tights over them. I think the chip / remap is more worthwhile in conjunction with other engine mods (although I'm no expert!).

182 Trophy - 9/10

Spotted a RB on the Llandarcy roundabout at around 5:45, last three letters on the plate were "SUX" I think. Also seen a Silver 182 a short while later in Penllergaer - only thing I remember was the gash upturned aftermarket exhaust. Anyone?

Doing lots of motorway miles I regularly see 40mpg, but then on weekends that usually drops to around 30mpg when driving a 'bit' quicker.

Spotted L33 CUP outside Tesco in Bridgend earlier, not sure if you saw me as you were speaking to someone on the phone - I was in the Trophy that passed you anyway. Also seen a black 182 on the A48 coming into Bridgend, had black license plates for some reason which I don't think were trade...

I'm in the process of buying a set of 182 leather rear seats - how much should I be looking to pay for them? The bloke had them up for 150 - note this is the rear seats only! Cheers, Rhodri.

The only time this has happened to me was on the way home from work in Swansea. Driving through Fforestfach, a kid wearing a Burberry hat in a barry'd up VTR pulled out of Blaenymaes behind me and then proceeded to accelerate/brake on my rear bumper for about 3 miles, he even had 'Bonkers 6' or...
