This is the exact reason I never noticed mine for a few weeks. The last thing you wanna be doing in a Cup (if you're not used to one) is flooring it and looking at the dials, especially when your previous car was a 1.3.
It's in the bottom right hand corner of the dials and it signifies...
lol. I just couldn't understand his comment. If there's anyone out there who has bought a Cup, toddled off down to Renault and got priced up for Cruise Control, Xenons, Leather and Climate Control, please introduce me to him because I'd love to shake him by the hand.
Who the f**k would want to spec a Cup up to FF standard? That's a rediculous comment. The whole point of going for the Cup is because you don't want all of that bullshit.
Would be nice to see the whole car, all your photos are close-ups, it's hard to get an overall picture. I'm painting mine when I get five, but only the fronts and in silver.
Spotted you in the multi story car park behind Est Est Est when I was parking, then outside Est Est Est in traffic when I was returning to my car. Think you were a chick. :P
Would have been bout 2:30 - 3:00PM.
That's good, it's obviously done the trick. Mine have a few chips from where the front wheels have kicked up s**t. Got the odd few on the bonnet too, but I guess that's an inevitability.
A lot of effort has gone into that, quality work too. I still wouldn't like to be seen within a 10ft radius of it tho. But if you like it that's all that counts.
I think he thought you had painted the engine cover. :P
It looks nice actually, pick out the lettering and it will look better (wire wool might work best, then polish). Makes a change from chrome, and a lot less work involved. Original. :)
