Played the Demo, not greatly impressed tbh. The rain and surface water was pretty cool, but will that mean A Wet Race/A Dry Race... No interchangeable conditions?
Still seemed to be just plonked in the middle of the field at the beginning of the race.
And the whole MOD thing WTF? Start one...
I've been playing the Openwheels Formula B and A lately and I've had to turn the damage off.
If I can get through the absolute cluster f**k that is the first corner, get past a back marker without him smashing me off the track, I still get some plum wiping me out... And after an hour of racing...
Will they be updating it so you can see what tyre you and the other drivers are on?
You select 'Automatic by Weather' but end up starting the race not actually having a clue what tyre I've got on.
I don't really play online mainly the career mode. Thing that's annoying me most is that the backmarkers don't seem to be blue flagged and you have to actually race them to pass them.
I'm not great at setting up the car which probably makes it a bit more difficult lol
I'm currently racing...
I've put a good few hours in so far and I'm still really really not 100% sure what exactly I'm doing lol
Mainly been doing missions off the Bulletin Board as that seems to be the easiest way to make money. I had kitted out my ship for mining, but just couldn't find anywhere to sell the stuff I...
In anticipation of the Rare collection out next week I decided to bust out the N64... But it was clearly fucked...
So set up the emulator and and N64 controller adaptor on the old laptop...
Pokemon Stadium is still great fun (my kids have been binge watching the original Pokemon series)...
Gave in and bought it. Done almost all the training missions and jumped into the main game...
I have no real clue where to start, can anyone give any pointers? Send me in the direction of any beginners video/thread walk-throughs etc...
I always find the race engineers quiet in all racing games (F1 2014, Project Cars etc...). I turn the engineer volume to Max then drop the other volumes to around 70%
Thought f**k it, gonna get this today. Walked into Game saw the £55 price tag and walked straight back out. Seriously can't justify spending that kind of money on it.
Think I'll grab the Elite:Dangerous early access and pick up Rare Replay when it's released on the 4th...
The lack of Career mode still bothers me and I find the complete omission of the Safety Car is just absurd.. Every time I think about getting the game the thought of that just puts me off.
But I think what you've suggested, starting in a lower team an working your way up is a great idea!
If they were unable to update games after they came out, Project Cars would still be around 6 months away from being released.
It does make you wonder though how sloppy are developers going to get? As they may well take on the 'oh, we'll iron the bugs out after release' approach in getting...
I was on the fence about getting this but from what I've heard theres not much advancement from the previous games. I didnt expect it to be a complete overhaul as its part of the series, but as its a the first game on the next gen consoles I expected a little bit more.
(disclaimer: I got the...
It's on Xbox for £24.99 as an early access, but I'm not sure if that means you get the full game on release, or if you have to pay extra towards it.
As I said, just playing the tutorial it seemed to be the little things that appealed to me, like your screen being smashed and (I'm assuming)...
Early Access has just come available on Xbox for £24.99 along with a 60 min demo.
Had a quick shot earlier and it's only the training missions you can play. I liked the small things, like activating your guns they come out of your ship accompanied with a cool whirring sound.
Even though...
No, have to go back and forth to adjust the controls.
Still affair few flaws in the game, but it's much better. I've noticed if you drive Forumla A etc... on a wet track then there is a reflection of the brake lights, even though it has none.
Loved playing Career. Starting with Marussia/Caterham playing through a Season trying to not finish last everytime. Then getting an offer from Force India/Torro Rosso where you start to score points, then hope to get an offer from a top team where you can go for the Championship.
Either the...
It's taking a pasting on the forums and social media, at least Codemasters are anyway.
You can make the greatest, smoothest, prettiest, most immersive game ever... But imagine FIFA without a a Career mode or penalties...
I know. I don't buy many games on release, but always have done for the F1 games because I just plough hours into them. But spending £50 for a game that is a lesser version than the 2014 game, which even that had only had the teams and livery updated and the classic content removed form 2013 game!
So no career mode, no safety car and no DLC. And I thought this was supposed to be the revamped next gen version, what an absolute joke.
Imagine EA tried to release FIFA with only Custom Cup...
