Bought 2015 for £30 (refused to pay anything more). Really disappointed with it. Lack of Career mode is ridiculous, no Safety Car was a joke (Its like EA Removing penalties from Fifa) and that 3 second penalty for corner cutting? Are we just making up our own rules for a licensed sport now...
Back on this again after playing F1 2015, it was okay but couldn't bare playing such an incomplete game with its made up rules unresponsive handling any longer.
I've been playing the Willow Springs track they had on the time trials for 3 days now. It's such a fast track and just great fun to...
Browsing through my games section and there's a list of 360 games listed on the side which are 'Ready to Install'... Can't even remember buying half of them! lol
I know what you mean about there being something about the gameplay which you can't put your finger on, I was the same playing the Beta.
For me, games like Battlefield, COD etc... The shooting and targeting seems more precise. With Battlefront it just feels like your shooting lasers which are...
We had a Commodore 64. Was bought for us as kids to mainly use for games. It seemed like you had to wait an age for a game to load, and those colours and and whirring! lol
I remember asking my dad what else I could do with it and he said you could 'Code'. I asked what that was and he handed me...
The Beta put me off as this was a definite purchase beforehand. Wasn't bad, just didn't seem much different from other multiplayer shooters that do it better.
The lack of Storymode is a big let down also.
I usually watch twitch just to see actual gameplay of a game I may want to buy.
But my son watches it YouTubers of Minecraft etc... all the time. I suppose it would be like us older peeps 15 years ago watching someone play Goldeneye or something...
Had a race earlier and was disqualified within the first three corners!
Got through the first bend, then Massa forced me off the track resulting in me getting a 3 second penalty... Then rear ended by Raikkonen forcing me to spin off, then I drive back onto the track and get disqualified for...
Been playing this a bit now, its not too bad, had some decent battles and just trying to decide what difficulty to go Championship mode on.
One thing that seems to bother me is the handling, it feels like you're driving on ice sometimes and constantly trying to correct yourself. Even...
They had the Thrustmaster (non force feedback) for around £70 quid at Game which I'm thinking of getting. Not sure how good it is though and the missus wouldnt be to happy if I paid the £200 for the tidy one lol
Finally got this. Picked it up for £35 in the Game sale
First thoughts...
The handling will take some getting used to, especially after months of Project Cars. You can change the sensitivity settings etc... for the wheel, but not the pad? With the pad you can't seem to make subtle...
My thoughts exactly. Played the game and thought it looked great, but was just another online shooter. Put me off buying it more than anything.
What did people put for the survey?
Bit unsure about this at the moment.
Looks absolutely stunning, but nothing stands out gameplay wise.
Is there expected to be a Campaign or will it just be offline type missions fighting waves of enemies?
I really want to pick this game up but I just cannot justify spending £50 on it.
Edit: Just had a look around and Amazon are doing it for £32 on PS4 and £44 on XBOX... Wtf!
Two completely different games IMO...
Project Cars is a Simulation. All about setting up your car, hitting that perfect lap, over and over, reacting to the conditions and what's happening around you.... My tyres are going off, shall I stay out another lap? Starts to rain, do I pit straight...
Stuck Forza 5 on earlier and turned it off 10 mins later when I realised why I stopped playing it in the first place... The AI is f**king dire. Randomly braking... They refuse to race each other and seem to be slowing down to keep a cars length from the next competitor, rather than overtaking...
