Unless you actually hold one and use one for a few hour, I don't think you can fully appreciate the changes. Its the most impressive change since Retina came along, the combination of speed and lightness are simply amazing. I picked up my 4th Gen Sunday night to package up, felt like I'd just...
So I've been using my Air a lot over the weekend, a lot more then I used my 4th gen, the weight and feel makes it much much easier to hold while sat on my fat arse on the sofa. The speed on the thing while browsing the net is seriously impressive as we'll blink and the entire amazon homepage has...
Despite the CS massive telling you to get an M5, I'm glad you made the correct decision and went with what you wanted and IMO, the better car. That is a stunning car and one hell of a lot of car for the cash, enjoy!
Yeah I didn't realise the £30 voucher wasn't valid until 21st. It really does zip along and I've came from a 4th gen, I don't remember the performance jump being that vast from 3rd to 4th gen. Some games which took maybe 10-15 seconds to load on the 4th gen, load instantly on the Air.
Home...
Indeed, I had a hold of the silver one in PC World and it was nice. My 4th Gen is white though and I like to alternate, makes it feel more like a truly new toy then.
Unsure what cover to use now though as 4th gen stuff doesn't fit, obviously. I'd had a clear gel cover for the back which I'd...
Picked a slate grey 16gb up at lunch from PC World, together with a £30 voucher. I've got a 4th Gen Ipad which I'm flogging, Air makes the old one feel like a brick!
Currently restoring from Icloud, loving the slate grey though, will be a shame to put a cover on it!
PC World now suddenly have loads for sale online and to reserve, despite them being sold out this morning. Will be collecting from there now as you get £30 voucher rather then £20 from Argos. So if anyone wants a Space Grey 16gb Wifi, I have a reservation code for Argos in Alfreton.
Just tried reserving at Currys, PC World and CPW, all out of stock :( then tried Argos and they had 1 left at my local store, reserved and will pick up midday. I thought demand wasn't meant to be that strong for this? Thought people were awaiting the Ipad Mini with Retina???
So who's buying the Air tomorrow then? I'm still unsure, I was going to wait for the Mini Retina but I think it'll be a bit small for me. I find the 4th Gen Ipad heavy so seems logically to get the Air. Might just wander into PC World tomorrow lunchtime and have a feel, no doubt I'll walk out...
Wow, person before you must have spent a fortune adding all the M3 bits onto it, which begs the question, why bother?!?! Anyway, nice car although I'm not a fan of pretend cars, even though the 330D is still a seriously quick and capable motor.
Life must be hard if you struggle to differentiate between pressing a button 2 times or 3 times. Must be really annoying whenever you want to unlock your car...
Saw one of these on my way to work this morning, in a weird deep blue colour, looked amazing to be honest. I then saw a silver Non-AMG version a few minutes later and it looked boring!
Am I the only one whom is confused as to why Apple is selling the Ipad 2 and Ipad Air? What happened to the two Ipad Generations in between? £329 for an Ipad 2 seems like daylight robbery to me, not even Retina is it?!
Agree with other comments, don't see any difference between that Impreza and other cars used for the same job. TBH, they probably got a deal on that shape Impreza as no-ones bought one, ever.
I think these have really aged well, still fresh despite being a few years old now. I'm not sure I'd use the phrase, "Really does shift" for one though. I know extremely little about these cars but I'm guessing as its a 1.6 its probably 120bhp and 1100kg? In anyone's books, that will not shift...
