    Yea a know they are all the way around the housing mate, but id of thought i could split it enough to clean and get some sealent in while its in the car, being supported. Im only taking about 10mm apart. Correct me if im wrong because i wont start it later lol :)

    it souldnt have hurt the gearbox, drive shafts can be pulled out by hand anyway, its only that youve shagged the wishbone giving it room to move out.

    Im in 2 minds at the moment, ill have a look later and see whats involved. ive only got to split it enough to get some rag in and clean the face, then bang sum sealent in the lower half... ill see. have you done one before then? That drip appears daily, and i think the drive would get messed up...

    Ahh sorry i thought you had shortened it yourself lol, just had a quick search online and it does mention it somewhere.. also in a reno gearbox manual it mentions the use of loctite 518. Might have to order some in at work for a "job" :rolleyes: Dont think ill take the box out if im honest...

    Thanks mate, well i tried to unclip it with it on the car and it just wouldnt come off, and i dont wanna take the bumper off really. So, when i mask it for paint ill lie with my legs under the car so i can see it properly, will get a good edge then :) still undecided what colour to go, black...

    The black strip in the back bumper of the RS.. what colour should i do it? the cars flame red, will have dark wheels on ventually, already painted front badge black, and the clio badge on the back going black. So do i spray it satin black same as badges, or flame red? If i colour code it...

    Right, i whipped the intake off to replace plugs, pick plugs and filter up monday and will do them in the week, this is what it looks like. intake old plugs Then i decided to remove the front badge, and the bit it sits on and spray both black :) Re fitted, I think it looks nice...

    I had a tinted one fitted on my meg coupe, cost £30 and they did it in half an hour, got a free cup of tea an biccys as well :D i think ill b having one fitted to the clio as well.
