Yea a know they are all the way around the housing mate, but id of thought i could split it enough to clean and get some sealent in while its in the car, being supported. Im only taking about 10mm apart. Correct me if im wrong because i wont start it later lol :)
Wait, which bit am i actualy sealing then, am i not just splitting it where the torx bolts are on the pics above and re sealing that part?, i could do that with it in the car if so.

Ahh sorry i thought you had shortened it yourself lol, just had a quick search online and it does mention it somewhere.. also in a reno gearbox manual it mentions the use of loctite 518. Might have to order some in at work for a "job" :rolleyes:

If it stays black then its being painted black, i h8 it when trim goes grey if you wash it but havnt got time to black it all up.
Thought it was gearbox oil but the engine oil is that clean i wasnt 100% sure, althou it does smell like af68 hydraulic oil = s**t lol

Thanks mate, well i tried to unclip it with it on the car and it just wouldnt come off, and i dont wanna take the bumper off really. So, when i mask it for paint ill lie with my legs under the car so i can see it properly, will get a good edge then :) still undecided what colour to go, black...
The black strip in the back bumper of the RS.. what colour should i do it?
the cars flame red, will have dark wheels on ventually, already painted front badge black, and the clio badge on the back going black.
So do i spray it satin black same as badges, or flame red?

Right, i whipped the intake off to replace plugs, pick plugs and filter up monday and will do them in the week, this is what it looks like.

Then i decided to remove the front badge, and the bit it sits on and spray both black :)

I had a tinted one fitted on my meg coupe, cost £30 and they did it in half an hour, got a free cup of tea an biccys as well :D i think ill b having one fitted to the clio as well.
